Volunteer!

Troop 302 is a completely volunteer-run organization and we need YOUR help!

It takes a village to keep a troop running smoothly while providing quality programming and adequate supervision.

Below are some of the roles you can fill:

• Committee Chair - Leads the Troop Committee and thus is responsible for the administration, oversight, and support of the pack program.

• Treasurer - Ensures the troop's finances are sound

• Secretary - Ensures accurate records of committee meetings are kept

• Advancement Chair - Tracks and awards Scouts as they earn ranks and merit badges

• Scoutmaster - Primary person responsible for overseeing troop activities

• Assistant Scoutmaster - Assist the Scoutmaster in overseeing troop activities

• Committee Member - Help cover 2-deep leadership at events and provide input to the troop programming, budget, etc.

• Merit Badge Counselor - Supervises or guides Scouts earning specific merit badges
